Dear bike nerds. What do you call that silver piece? It has a vertical slot for the bike axle and I would like a more horizontal one to be able to adjust tension for single speed. I assume I could get one if it’s removable. @adalehunt.bsky.social ?

A friend’s dad died who went to seminary in Latin America. He was giving away a number of books and this one has been a gem. @deandettloff.bsky.social , you seen this one?

Well folks I might as well start plugging. I have many thoughts and feelings tied up in this project as it is, in many ways, my view from midlife wrestling with this stuff for a long time. We are hoping to have it released for the start of summer. Many thanks and acknowledgments to come.

"Fascism is a cult of the archaic completely fitted out by modern technology. Its degenerate ersatz of myth has been revived in the spectacular context of the most modern means of conditioning and illusion." - Guy Debord

I haven't posted much on here about the fundraiser last week. But in addition to raising $10k for material relief in Palestine seeing this real one singing with this smile felt pretty healing for Winnipeg as well.

Enjoying The King’s Two Bodies far more than expected. And plenty timely as it basically outlines the emergence of Christian nationalism in the Middle Ages.

Always willing to temper holiday cheer I watched the 1977 French film The Devil, Probably. Dripping with ennui, turns it out captures the perfect ethos of getting through the holiday season.

The image found at UofM which is reported as 'antisemitic'. For the record I don’t think any name on any building is safe. Our wealth is built off the poverty of others. Our security is proportional to the violence we have been willing to inflict.

Thomas Aquinas uses endless theological minutia to weed out posers before he goes hard.
