Is it just me that can hear a shade of Kermit the frog in the opening line of "New York, I Love You" by LCD Soundsystem? Oh, and if this makes you go listen to it, you're welcome. 😂

I really like the new increased colour saturation across iOS 27 and macOS Golden Gate, especially in stock app icons. It'll be interesting to see if third party developers go that way too now it has shipped.

I'll be attending the very special @iosdevuk.bsky.social conference, which is racing towards us and happens in less than three weeks! 😱 There are still tickets available if you'd like to come and chat packages, indexes, registries, and more www.iosdevuk.com/tickets

I recently cleaned up a bunch of old repos and it felt good. Made me realize I want to do even more, so I made a list. If you want one, it's yours.

I wrote about package registries last week on the SPI blog. If you've not used one before, there's a follow-along example of using the @tuist.dev registry, and it starts with a reminder of how indexes and registries fit into the ecosystem. Here it is! swiftpackageindex.com/blog/what-is...

What's the difference between a package index and a package registry? One helps you discover packages, the other hosts and serves them. 📦 A new post explains how they fit together. Read more: swiftpackageindex.com/blog/what-is...

It's so great that macOS has inertial scrolling so you can quickly scroll through very long lists until you need to use it to select your birth year 👴

It's amazing how sensitive to change I am when it comes to keyboards. I've been using a Apple keyboard with the numpad for years and just got a new one, which has a very slightly different layout (they moved the fn key) and it's suddenly like I'm using someone else's hands 😂

I had a couple of apps that allow downloading transcripts and other resources published during WWDC. I updated them a year ago, and @daveverwer.com pointed out that those tools could better suited for the web, so in case he's right, dunfeyhotel.com

Interesting idea for an app, I like it. I'm getting this error when I click on any item in the sidebar, though. Brew doctor reports no issues, and everything is updated. Brew is at the latest version, too. Any ideas on what's wrong?
