not the "worst" but: "It is easy to read, except for the ‘xie’/ߴxir’ thing. Probably a neat idea, but not fully explained and as far as I can tell irrelevant to the short story as it stands. It disrupts the flow of the reading and could be done without unless it contributes in some way I missed."

A box with four scents described on a green background, on a handkerchief background.

Scents: Subliminity, Somewhere but nowhere. Lovely and a little twisted. Disfruta. Says "everything is possible" on the bottom.

Prose, Poetry and Play: Game Design as Literary Practice

The thriving world of narrative games is a site of rich literary possibility, offering up tools and opportunities for publication that expand notions of genre and inspire the invention of new storytelling forms. In this panel, writers who have also published
tabletop “story games,” story-rich video games, and interactive fiction
will explore the practice and the potential of writing games. Is there a narrative games canon? How might a writer of “traditional” prose find pathways into games? What stories are best told through interactive, collaborative experiences of play?

Moderator: Nat Mesnard
Panelists: Sharang Biswas, Erin Roberts, Dave Ring, Brigitte Winter

Two ttrpg party illustrations for @davering.bsky.social and friends! Two different settings, two different vibes, two different mediums, two and a half years apart. (Most recent on the left, props to anyone who can say what restaurant they're at ;D )

A watercolor illustration inspired by illuminated manuscripts, featuring a ttrpg party in a Last Supper style pose at the Buca di Beppo Pope Room Table where all of the decor has been swapped out to character-relevant paraphernalia.

The border features various menu items.

A poster style digital ttrpg party illustration where each character is framed by the windows of a gothic mansion.
