My vote YES on 40 was perhaps the first time in my life I've agreed with Bernie Sanders on a specific policy issue. The opposition by @gavinnewsom.bsky.social made that weird pill much easier to swallow. It's like he's trying to win back Guilfoyle's affections.

A stream passing thru Plumas Nat'l Forest in CA. Spent probably 2 or 3 hours at this stop, just exploring with no one around, no expectations, no responsibilities. Heaven.

An old homestead in the Verdugo mountains up above Burbank/Glendale. Doesn't look burned out, but definitely picked apart. The trail to/from has been cleared out a bunch over the years, when I first saw the chimney top from the main fire road it was a real trek thru the brush to get there.

It me. The Vasquez rocks are not a lonely spot by any stretch, but if you're lucky you can get there during a lull between Gorn fans.

At some point the loopy coasters became too much for my weaksauce stomach and I started taking them with my eyes closed.

The whole park (well most of it) from atop one of X2's high points.

So I miss the entire show as it happens, but I hold a camera up with the shutter on repeat so I can see later what I missed.

Most of the shots wind up being blurry madness, but there's an occasional gem.

Realistically the effects should be limited. While it's likely they swung the axe harder at the blue pages, it's just as likely that the only ones using the database will be red states already working to suppress the opposition. Gerrymandering will wind up preserving most at-risk outcomes.
