The plastic one is the training one. It’s very easy. The Master was way harder but also a little corroded and tougher for that. But first evening I’ve been able to do them all in a row inside 10 minutes. Probably should move to door locks next.

So this is the mess in my living room but it’s the only place to get to a window that opens and you have to get around the wall (and the dog crate). There are no windows that open in the other part of the room and I’m not spending money on a fitted mini-split for the 4 days I need it a year.

I think the issue is people notice step changes and take awhile to adjust or react when one good changes a LOT. My wife likes imported chocolate. Imported chocolate is ~2x what it was 12-18 months ago. That change is not reflected in the CPI but it pisses me off if she asks me to get her some.
