Part of why I wanted to write was because of the feelings I had from the films that I watched. The way they made me feel like. To see the community #LOST built only reinforced what your work or, selfishly, what my work, can do. A big motivator for sure.

I got up an ugly time of day this morning. Knowing I had to push off to go to the 9-5. My kid starts to fuss and I go into his room. He get him to settle and he groggily says “I want to hold you”. Meaning he wants me to crawl into bed next to him and hold him till he falls asleep. (1)

Reflection: in re reading an earlier draft I found that I had a decent world built, but my main characters were passive and, frankly, annoying. They were whiny and quippy. Devoid of anything good to connect to. It was eye opening to say the least. #screenwriting #screenwriter #writing #quereyquest
