Celebrity or not - everyone who has lost a home in these #fires is a human being. That trauma is being felt around the state and world. I’m sorry for your loss. Some are more fortunate to rebuild than others. But the loss is real. Words cannot describe what you’re going through.

I got up an ugly time of day this morning. Knowing I had to push off to go to the 9-5. My kid starts to fuss and I go into his room. He get him to settle and he groggily says “I want to hold you”. Meaning he wants me to crawl into bed next to him and hold him till he falls asleep. (1)

Reflection: in re reading an earlier draft I found that I had a decent world built, but my main characters were passive and, frankly, annoying. They were whiny and quippy. Devoid of anything good to connect to. It was eye opening to say the least. #screenwriting #screenwriter #writing #quereyquest
