This is genius: live footage of traffic on the southbound 101 here in LA, and every car that crosses the line plays a musical note. You can even change the orchestration in real time. Scroll to the bottom to see more details how it was made. Brilliant stuff. the-101-plays-itself.netlify.app

Jason and I finally watched SUPERGIRL. I hate fanboys. Milly Alcock was great, I dug the whole wild-child vibe. Yeah, the plot & villain were very mid, and Momoa was great as Lobo but totally inconsequential. But we dug all the aliens and the grime and the fight scenes. Flawed but serviceable.

A few weeks ago I was proud and honored to celebrate the 85th anniversary of Boy Scout Troop 18 in North Hollywood, where I was a scout from 1979–1988. Scouting was absolutely foundational to who I became, and so much of what I learned there is still part of me today. (Second row middle) (1/2)

I love this that the author added in comments.

"In the wake of her passing, I keep coming back to something about Dolly that doesn’t get talked about enough: how she could be an extraordinary empath and an extraordinary agent of her own will at the same time. Those two things weren’t in tension for her, they were the same muscle."
