My sister sent me videos of what her grandchildren are doing: Grand nephew (3) is playing with a Lego shockabsorber and exploring how the spring works. Grand niece (1) is dipping her binky in my sister's hot tea and dribbling it down her chin.

C64 here... It was a loaner from a friend. It wasn't long before I upgraded. It was my access point to the school Gopher server and the MUD's. I upgraded around the same time we moved from Mosaic to Netscape. The web was just easier on an IBM based system. I later installed Linux on that box.

The early 90s and the fear in New Mexico as an outbreak on the Navajo Reservation brought the disease into the vernacular was palpable. I stuffed a lot of steel wool into holes in a portable building we used for monitoring equipment at Langmuir Lab on South Baldy near Socorro to keep out the mice.

They just closed I-40 Westbound from Winslow and 87 South. We are now a parking lot and will fill up with big rigs as the night progresses. It's a good thing there are two big truck stops here. Too bad the third won't be completed until summer.
