The first political squat to last more than a night in our region in over a decade is ongoing in the Verdun borough of Montreal. The squat of a vacant building started at the end of a demonstration of hundreds of tenants. There has been no media coverage of the action.

McFadden aiming to force young sick people to work cited research showing that young people who are signed off on sickness benefits are more likely to die early as a justification. But correlation does not equal causation. People with chronic illness die younger. All this shows is that he's stupid.
