The typical fear is to rely on a not-too-popular (sustainable?) cloud storage solution. At the end of the day, unless we have a consistent and regular local backup solution (considering cold and hot data categories), the storage-lockin is everywhere.

I love the ease of how Logseq MD allows you to add block properties. With the help of a few CSS touches, the UI experience is even better. I hope that the future #Logseq DB version takes care of these little nuances... to prevent too high data enriching friction.

I've just tested it out, and there is nothing much better than a good prompt using Claude Sonnet 3.5 and converting it into Markdown. It does not keep the MS Word title hierarchy as MD headings seemlessly. The only valuable thing is that it says that it does not send anything to the web.

For me, it is fine that it's open, as it's been for everyone developing and sharing their work during the GAoI by bSI (twice a year) offline in different parts of the world. But I don't know the reason why last week suddenly there was this "online hype," considering it is still a long-term journey.
