I’m glad I waited to check out Trails until this year cause it means all the games are easily available in English, but I do kinda wish I had played FC when I got it from Humble Bundle in 2012-13, I know would have adored it back then, this series is exactly what I’ve wanted from RPGs

Queer coworker invited me to a weekly transfemme meetup they go to so I went and even tho it was terrifying to me as someone with strong social anxiety and I felt really insecure about being so nervous and not looking feminine at all, it ended up pretty fun!

It’s just okay. I don’t like the controls, some of the ways to progress feel too obtuse to figure out on your own, and Ridley is such a hard fight for me. It’s a good game, but it has enough flaws that I don’t like it as much as Fusion, Zero Mission, and Dread, which are my favorites

Big Walk is so much fun, I love how everything In it is built around giving you fun and silly ways to interact with everyone you’re playing with. My friends and I had a goofy dance party and it was delightful, and having even normal conversations but within the context of this game felt so fun

I adore Rebellion so much, the way it reframes the show’s story and lets Homura further shine and have real autonomy is just incredible. Really feels in conversation with Adolescence of Utena, creatives reflecting on the influential art they made and coming to a new and revelatory conclusion
