Nope. Just an account page. Don't know what to tell you, but there's nothing to redeem and if I go look at my prior redemptions I do see plenty of other promotions I've redeemed in the past, there's just nothing here for this link.

As another poster also reported. This seems to take me to my account details page with no other notable changes to my account to be seen, no notification that I've redeemed anything, and on the whole the link seems to be a huge nothingburger.

A nice Steak. Doesn't matter from where or with what. If I want a good happy time food, it's a buttery medium-rare steak.

> I hope it reminds us to be more comfortable saying, “I don’t know the whole story.” I can't tell you how much better your life is when you assume you do know the rest of the story and it's maximally charitable. Granted there are people who don't deserve it (billionaires for one) but most do.

If all iterations of Wolverine were placed on an eff-boy spectrum, where would this iteration slot in? Which iteration is he directly above and which iteration is he directly below?

Jim Henson would have been 90 (yup, you read that right: NINETY) years old today. You can celebrate his life by celebrating creativity, diversity, peace, imagination, and silliness.

There's a planned power outage in my neighborhood at least that has us offline.

DarthYoshiBoy @darthyoshi.com · 21/09/2026

It's the only time I've had an issue, but the whole company cares about their tech and it shows in buckets. Their proactive status updates on outages from the local Fiber provider are awesome and on the whole I can't imagine a company doing more for their users than XMission. High recommend from me.

020

DarthYoshiBoy @darthyoshi.com · 21/09/2026

I once uncovered a BGP issue between XMission and Akamai. The front line agent when I called in (on a weekend and at night no less) knew what I was talking about, was able to confirm the issue, and had a fix pushed within minutes. That's worth paying for in my book.

120

DarthYoshiBoy @darthyoshi.com · 21/09/2026

I've had XMission going back to Dial-Up. I pay a small fraction more than I might with other providers around here, but it's SOOOOOO worth it for being able to speak to a knowledgeable/empowered person who understands the tech if there's an issue, instead of a call center drone with no clue/power.

I've been interested in checking out Marathon. It really looks like my vibe and I hear good things, but I'll never forget this is a company that'll take more than $100 of your money, then flush everything you got in exchange down the toilet, and tell you that you should be happy that they did that.

DarthYoshiBoy @darthyoshi.com · 21/09/2026

True story, I'd been playing D2 F2P for a bit and was enjoying it a good deal, so I decided to go all in and buy the "everything" pack at the time, and a week later they did their vaulting and took practically everything I'd just bought away from me.

100

DarthYoshiBoy @darthyoshi.com · 21/09/2026

Hey. @bungie.net You give me back what I bought and you subsequently took away a week later and I might be willing to open my wallet for you again. That said, I'm going to need to see some commitment to honoring my purchases if this is going to stick.

I hope someone makes a mod that improves the resolution of the 2D assets as they're the only thing stopping this from being a 100% solid 4k title. Right now it seems like it's stuck with the original resources that were designed for 720p and they look okay, but everything else looks fantastic.

And lest you think the Postal Service is just like that and sometimes mail is lost. The only mail I've ever had "lost" has 100% been orders from TCGPlayer. Mail is VERY reliable where I live. In over 40 years, the only mail I've ever not gotten has been Magic cards ordered via TCGPlayer.

000

DarthYoshiBoy @darthyoshi.com · 18/09/2026

If I want to get the cheapest alternative now, I'm looking at paying 300% more than I was out originally. From ~$0.80 then to at best ~$4 now for Moderately Played with the average (including cards in all conditions) well up over $5. So getting my money back will still actually cost me a decent bit.

100

DarthYoshiBoy @darthyoshi.com · 18/09/2026

This is the third time I've been building a deck and it got janked up on some lying bullshitter on TCGPlayer saying that they sent a card and then just not doing that. If they'd said they didn't have the card on day one I'd have been looking at paying a small amount (pennies) more to reorder. but...

100

DarthYoshiBoy @darthyoshi.com · 18/09/2026

They hold onto my money until the situation resolves, then they're out the cost of a single stamp at the most and they can make 4-5x what they would have made if they actually made good on the sale. I think I'm just done with buying online, my LGS never tell me they'll sell me a card then don't.

100

DarthYoshiBoy @darthyoshi.com · 18/09/2026

For the seller it's just gotta make sense to not ship a card that jumped 400% in price, right? What punishment do they face for saying they shipped a card and then not doing it? Or even sending a letter to a random PO Box in my ZIP and then saying that was the card? (which will obviously never come)

100

DarthYoshiBoy @darthyoshi.com · 18/09/2026

I think I'm done buying cards on @tcgplayer.com. It's happened several times now where I've bought a card that popped off and that shipment is "lost in the mail" while my other orders deliver with 100% certainty.

I just want to play my existing Steam VR games and Half-Life Alyx without spending more than $500 and without having to use a VR headset owned by Facebook or some China fly by night operation. It seems like even in the AIpocalypse this shouldn't be impossible given what I spent on my Oculus Rift.

000

DarthYoshiBoy @darthyoshi.com · 14/09/2026

I find myself wondering why they didn't release a version without memory or a SoC that's any sort of capable for running the games on the hardware itself? I was waiting for a PC VR headset, and now because it's apparently got to be able to do standalone tricks, it's in an unattainable price range.
