I've just had the misfortune of going on FB for about the fourth time in six years. Anyway, saw a post about a local pub closing so I had a look. Usual vile comments about it becoming an HMO to house immigrants. One particularly vocal bell-end wanging on. Guess where he lives? Pattaya. *long sigh*

So, last night's curry evening was also our mate Rob Varney's 60th birthday. All the lads chipped in to get him some personalised skateboard related presents, including a vintage Powell Peralta Steve Caballero deck signed by the very man himself. He was absolutely delighted. Great night.

Working on a house at the minute that's having a lot of work done so there's loads of other tradies there. It always amazes me how many of them sod off home about 2-3pm. Invariably we're the last to leave between 5-6pm.* Blows my mind. *Light and weather permitting. Earlier in the winter, obviously

I'll try again... 🙄 Johnny Flynn is delightfully demented as Frankie Cooper in series 2 of MobLand. The playful and intelligent but equally dark and psychotic balance is perfect. So good. I also didn't realise he's Jerome Flynn's half-brother. Every day's a school day etc.
