I played the trilogy in anticipation, I might have to take the fabled “pre death stream nap” I haven’t taken in ages to stay for the whole thing.

Between this and "this franchise will disappear for years on end and be absent from the public conscientiousness", I think I prefer this.

I haven't played Spider-Man 2, but I have been replaying the Arkham Trilogy and I'll say this: Those games are much better Batman games than those are Spider-Man games. And Knight is really good and I feel too maligned. But I guess launch was rough.

Maybe they can get back to shipping a non Tim Schafer game like every year or so and keep them afloat just long enough till Tim can trick someone into believing he can ship a game again.

I’m excited cause I rewatched the Gigaboots Spyro streams and at one point, with you in chat also, someone spoils the ending of this game. But like normal people, we blocked it out of our memory.

Excited to buy KH4 on Switch 2 since it probably won’t have a disc on the PS5.

000

DarkQueenSara @darkerqueensara.bsky.social · 02/07/2026

No the PS6 is just going to be an overpriced PS5 Pro+ that ships games without Temporal Anti-Aliasing making everything look like a blurry mess full of ghosting artifacts. But the PS5 Portable has been leaked for a while. Even that 2D God of War had power saving options clearly for that future model

Have you tried logging into Doctor Aggro’s account on your computer and then adding him? I have two friends that don’t live that close to me in my Steam family, but I had to do it like that.

I just canceled my PS+. Sucks to lose over a decade of games accumulated across multiple systems, including the PS3, but the only thing I really need to play online is XIV and that doesn’t need a sub.

Good news: the universal kids park in Frisco looks like a cheap Peppa pig park so I'm not missing anything at all Bad news: the cheapness ended up producing a brutalist minions raft ride that I desperately want to see irl

River rapids ride featuring pure concrete unpainted, lots of brutalist lines and extremely minimal decorative cutouts of the minions

Last year, miHoYo copied my puzzle game Ouros in Zenless Zone Zero. Because they are a recognized, billion-dollar studio and my game isn't well known, some people are now assuming that their version is the original, and mine is the clone. I hope this video clears that up.

Go play Panzer Dragoon then, 1 and 2 are awesome. (Yet to play Orta). And you know, if you go on that journey, there's an allegedly 10/10 masterpiece JRPG in the middle, that no one played cause it was a 1998 Sega Saturn game that SEGA completely gave up on marketing and manufacturing in the west.

I'm from Portugal, and cursive is just the default. At no point are we ever taught to write in block letters. So whenever I hear about countries that don't do that, it's really weird to me. Cause like yeah, what's the point of going back to try to teach you to write a different way after a decade?

I'm excited to eventually play the other ones, and see what things I should be mad about specifically I guess. Cause the desert isn't great. Among other things. People complain about power recycling via the psychic thing, but few Metroid games introduce (a lot of) truly new moves.

000

DarkQueenSara @darkerqueensara.bsky.social · 22/12/2025

I'm an avid Metroid fan, but never played any Prime game cause my options were emulation, get a Gamecube and track down copies, buy the expensive trilogy or just own an Wii U. I'm enjoying Prime 4. It's worse than 2D Metroid for sure. But there's a strong appeal to being Samus in first person.

The Muppet Christmas Carol and Bloodborne are the same setting. A man trapped in a dream version of a twisted Victorian gothic city in which many of the townspeople are strange beasts gains insight by encountering a series of otherworldly creatures. There's also a merchant that's a giant spider.

I don't even want to play that many high end PC games, cause I have a PS5, most of what I want is older shit not on consoles, and some games that benefit from keyboard/mouse like Baldur's Gate 3. So yeah, I've been wanting to upgrade hardware for ages, this might be it. Hope it's priced right.

My desktop is old and bad. My laptop sucks for gaming. The Cube is really appealing cause I can set it as a console in the living room and it seem easy enough to move to my desk when I need to use it for projects, It already showed it running Godot even.
