Snake cult! 🐍 🐍 🐍 Inspired by this medieval art I found here: x.com/WeirdMedieva... (also available on my redbubble shop, link in bio 🤭) #ofmd #ofmdfanart #ourflagmeansdeath

Art inspired by a medieval illustration, depicting nine Archies in different and weird poses with a green serpent wrapping around her body.

Original medieval art showing nine human figures, each with a green serpent wrapping around their bodies.

The amount of negativity in the world is almost out of control. Don't let it touch you. The sun shines every day, the colours of the world alone should entice you to smile. We are alive and WE can create joy. Smile for the hell of it and remember how special humanity can be. We got this!

So here it is, my depiction of episode 1 of the wonderful Our Flag Means Death, in the (sort of) style of the Bayeux Tapestry. Only tiny. I adore this show. (You can probably tell). #OFMD

My new year’s resolution generator for @theguardian.com. Let me know what you get!

Title: Still haven't made a new year's resolution? Let us help you generate one!

Image: a diagram which asks you to input “The year of your birth added to the number of pets in your home”, “The number of days in the current month plus your shoe size” and “The sum of the first three digits in your telephone number” which will seemingly make a random resolution but actually always* makes “support your local bookshop”.

*Unless you have size 68 shoes or a negative number of pets or some other nonsense in which case you will get the silly outcome you deserve.

Time to bring merStede over to where the skies are blue! I had THE BEST time playing around with @ghostalservice.bsky.social for our #OFMDAUgust collab. I did 7 total pieces for this story, but this is one of my absolute favorites EVER! AO3 Story+Art: archiveofourown.org/works/57622447 #OFMDfanart

MerStede under the water, viewed from below. He is looking up over his left shoulder to where a metal ball on a line is swinging close to his nose. A boat is visible from below with a tiny figure (Ed) leaning over the side, holding the end of the line with the metal ball. A large anchor chain hangs off the front of the boat to fix it in place. Image is rendered in a impressionist style, with broad brushstrokes of blues & aquas.

Transferring over another post, this one from that time I tracked down all the paint colours used on the Revenge set like the ADHD gremlin I am, and turned it into a palette for Procreate (and now Illustrator, too)- links and more detail below! #OFMDBTS #OurFlagMeansDeath #OFMDfanart

A page of paint colours used on the Revenge ship set on Our Flag Means Death. The upper half of the page includes thirteen colour swatches in shades of gold, brown, cream, yellow, pink, blue-green and red. These colours and their shades have been incorporated into a Procreate palette with the title Revenge Colours in the middle of the page. At the bottom of the page all of the colours are repeated as a "digital dollop" from the paint companies, each of which shows the main colour and shades.

The colour titles are visible in the swatches and dollops, and with the exception of Glitzy Gold (top right in the swatches, far right in the dollops) all are in the same order:

Peanut Butter
Charleston Brown
White Sand
Coral Pink
Satchel
Banana Yellow
Soft Spruce
Midnight
Covington Blue
Desert Gold
Mayan Gold
Caliente
Glitzy Gold
