So I started playing Wolverine and am a bunch of hours into it but I actually booted up Resident Evil 4 also today and played it for about 2-3 hours.

I started Resident Evil 3 Remake yesterday and in other news I completed Resident Evil 3 Remake

Thanks for all the well wishes guys! I appreciate it. Gonna make more of an effort to post here consistently

I pumped a few hours into Echoes of Wisdom earlier today and it was the first bit of substantial gaming I've done in a while. Also ordered the Wolverine game!

One of those things will be re-engaging with hobbies like reading and gaming.

Life has been super hectic lately and I've been neglecting posting on here. Made some changes in real life so going to be prioritising self-care over burnout for the next while. Hope all you guys are good.

I've been pretty unhappy over the last few months and I haven't really had much motivation to game substantially or at all really. I played Pokopia a little bit. I really want to get back to a place where I'm excited about gaming.

Caught Kiki's Delivery Service 4k remaster in IMAX after initially thinking I was going to miss the 1 day theatrical window. As ever, seeing Ghibli in a cinema is a treat enough. Sidenote: Snapped this quick titlecard pick before the movie's content began, in a screening with very few people.

POKEMON HAS BEEN INCLUDED IN THE DISNEY STREAMING DEAL FOR DISNEY+ UK. 27 EPS OF INDIGO LEAGUE ARE UP

Looking forward to diving into the Star Wars: The Ninth Jedi anime tomorrow hopefully!

I'm totally happy with DBS but I really fucking would love a followup to Daima one day, in whatever form they deem fit. A short series, a few movies... that world was just so fresh and new. I loved it so much

Gymming so hard this summer. This is only the beginning

020

Steve @dappersteve.bsky.social · 26/07/2026

I have loved the convergence of mangaka having a direct hand in theatrical anime movies over the last decade. But also, bring back inconsequential movies. Watching Frieren dandering through the countryside on a cinema screen would go so fucking HARD

010

Steve @dappersteve.bsky.social · 26/07/2026

why is the Crunchyroll player so fucked up like that

010

Steve @dappersteve.bsky.social · 26/07/2026

Is there any word on the grapevine what's happening with the Dragon Ball Super manga? I read that there's a big rights power struggle for the Dragon Ball IP at the moment but that could be unfounded gossip. Or maybe Toyotaro needs more time & space after what happened?

000

Steve @dappersteve.bsky.social · 26/07/2026

Maybe this is just a me thing but at this age I don't really care much for power systems in anime and manga unless it's simple and the vehicle rather than the focus. Keeping track of the Nen stuff in Hunter x Hunter is making me lose interest and I kind of just want to say, "get to the point!"

030

Steve @dappersteve.bsky.social · 25/07/2026

Crunchyroll now has the dub for up to the end of Enies Lobby. I remember eagerly awaiting that dub's cast reveal 20 years back as a kid. One Piece has been handled astronomically badly in the UK. Until the last few years with streaming & Netflix deals, that's now changed.

020

Steve @dappersteve.bsky.social · 19/07/2026

Do any of you think we will get an additional Dragon Ball anime or movie projects or do we think the build up to Super's return will be the focus for the foreseeable?

I'm 32 and it's crazy knowing that GTA 7 will probably come out when i'm 50-adjacent.

Steve @dappersteve.bsky.social · 06/07/2026

Just my personal opinion, but having read the manga I think the story of Demon Slayer is mediocre - but the anime elevates it with insane animation. Going even further, the Infinity Castle movie was an incredible feat of filmmaking - truly an amazing film i'll watch & watch

Update: I'm back in Desktop, but I'm locked out of my phone. But I will be able to get into my phone when it's time.

If you think some of Sony's rivals won't eliminate physical to match them and meet their profit increases as a result, think again.

For a long time I was locked out of Bluesky on my phone. Now I am back in on my phone. But I'm locked out of desktop. The lord giveth and he taketh away.

050

Steve @dappersteve.bsky.social · 04/07/2026

I think this is prob quite common & I don't even think it's necessarily an anime thing, more a thing from just being so engrossed in the shows as a kid but want to get other thoughts. Can any of you basically name a voice actor from saying Pokémon, Yugioh etc just from hearing them say one line etc?

000

Steve @dappersteve.bsky.social · 02/07/2026

Such a good film. I only watched it last year for the first time I think

010

Steve @dappersteve.bsky.social · 02/07/2026

perhaps. i felt it played into fandom stereotypes at large (anime fandoms can be very prone to regurgitative opinions) but we hashed all that out a long time ago. i don't have any issue with Scott now. he tried to see where i was coming from which was a fair thing to do

010

Steve @dappersteve.bsky.social · 29/06/2026

they're so tasty! i do prefer the yellow version though. this was from Thursday when it was super hot here - reached 25 degrees and we were in a beer garden for a little bit

Grooving on some VA-11 Hall-A this morning! ☕️ 🎮 First impression is that it absolutely nails the Cyberpunk atmosphere. This game doesn’t sanitize its characters.. that’s for sure. 😅 Also, the soundtrack is really freaking good… 80s cyberpunk synthwave.

Had one of the best workouts in a while yesterday. I feel like I've gotten back into the swing of it after a few months where I couldn't go

070

Steve @dappersteve.bsky.social · 28/06/2026

I started season 2 of Frieren, having read the manga content that's covered. I intend to fly through it, especially since it's a reduced episode count.

040

Steve @dappersteve.bsky.social · 28/06/2026

I only have 47 chapters until I catch up to Hunter X Hunter! I've read 155 chapters of this, alongside 71 chapters of Frieren, over the last 4 weeks. It's been a journey and I'm interested to see how Kurapika replaces Gon. I think I'll watch the anime to solidify the experience.

020

Steve @dappersteve.bsky.social · 28/06/2026

that's such a kind thing to say! thank you so much. have a wonderful day!

I'm getting extremely close to the section of HUNTER x HUNTER where Gon leaves. Still find it crazy that the main character just dips and the manga continues on for 10 years.
