If you are commissioning an artist, and want a specific pose, don't run to genAI to try and make it for you. Draw a stick person. Stick person poses are beloved among all artists. We can see exactly what you want. Do not fear sending the stick person. The stick person is magical.

A little late #Hypnovember thing! Pop in those earbuds, play the music included in your gym subscription and watch time blur as you pump those reps, you’ll find that it’s very effective! Thanks to @braziliannut.bsky.social for the “Gym Rat” idea. (Timelapse in replies) #art #furryart #hypno

A furry grey wolf sitting on a gym bench in a tank top, shorts, sporty socks and footwear. He his pumping some reps with a dumbbell in his right hand. On the bench next to him is a phone that is playing hypnotic music on it indicated by the spiral on the cover art. A pair of earphones going from the phone into his ears. His eyes spiral with a wobbly ringed pattern with a faint cybernetic overlay. Against a blue background with a grey-blue swirl pattern.

Here’s my own run of the hard route. Going for all the medals made it a fun challenge.

I am excited for the game. It's not perfect, but it's not all bad either. But a miscellaneous thing I would like to bring up is that Mouse Controls are a thing and NOT REQUIRED like Star Fox Zero's motion controls were. But the Switch 2 JoyCons have a new Mouse mode.

I do like how we are going to see what actually happened to James instead of it just being narrated in the intro, it's cool to see it fully cinematic as well.

Having essentially VTuber filters for a webcam is hilarious, and I like it. Choosing different characters for a gaming session is a fun idea and Nintendo saying "Hey remember we have Gamechat?" And selecting different avatars is also a plus.

Battle Mode is definitely a highlight of the game, since the leaks said it was all out on the multiplayer. Choosing between Star Fox and Star Wolf and ONLINE LOBBIES is sick. The modes look just like payload and tower control modes I know from things like Splatoon in a way. I'm hoping for on-foot.

The different objectives in the levels are also amazing to give more replayability in the Challenge Mode. It calls back to different medal requirements from Star Fox Zero for me. The different difficulty settings having different missions as well is great for variety.

The story is yet another Star Fox 64 recycle, but I can move past that if the cutscenes add more story beats and enhance it. The graphics look gorgeous, and seeing that they are going for a cinematic story is what I've wanted for the franchise after Starlink.

My thoughts on the Star Fox Direct: The character designs aren't necessarily bad since they went for realistic designs. From the Zero designs, to the Galaxy Movie, to these designs, it's a jarring change and they could have done without the digitigrade legs and making the eyes a little bigger.

Imagine if Nintendo shadowdropped an announcement for a Star Fox game on the 10th anniversary of Star Fox Zero. Of course they didn't... (Still hoping for this month at least)
