I’ll be appearing this weekend at Pittsburgh Gaming Expo for a specialty performance as the musical bandleader for Baron De Ropp’s TTRPG awards show. I’ll be around all weekend, ask me about my new upcoming album!

This opening is SO FUCKING SICK, and then yeah, it hits you with the title. I have been laughing for like five minutes straight, and now I'm looking up this soundtrack on YouTube because this music is so damn good.

Doom "soundfont" covers are trending right now, but we can take this stupidity one step further with some melodyne magic

Lars memes are the epitome of lazy dunks - even the Napster story gets completely misrepresented by 20 years of internet telephone storytelling

people hate on Lars but in ‘One’ the way he foreshadows Metallica’s most iconic riff, (in a different time signature!) is a level of holistic songwriting that extremely few drummers explore

I never put together that the dramatic stairs before Dracula were directly depicted in the Castlevania castle art

I think the trap kit has the same problem with the bass distortion They are legitimately cool sounds and can sound really unique and fresh But if you use them *all the time* they lose their appeal, and in the case of the distortion, become extremely fatiguing

ok I heard another track and ngl I was laughing at the production What a move, I love it… conceptually. In practice, I don’t really want to hear it for an entire record.

Polyphia fans are not a fan of this mix, and while ultra distortion + 90s vocal sampler is a wild choice I’m kinda here for the big swings Composition is a bit weaker than their other stuff but I’m always interested in where they’re taking production youtu.be/WyfIzJwwOTc?...

I almost bought one a decade ago but I couldn’t justify it. The text behind the gameboy is absolutely the most unhinged copy ever written on a Nintendo product
