Last night, I had the enormous privilege of moderating the Nerenberg Family Foundation Annual Speaker Event with Amb. Dan Shapiro & @yair-rosenberg.bsky.social. Thank you to Northwestern Hillel & @medillschool.bsky.social for the opportunity, and to the brilliant & ever compelling Dan & Yair!

Three people sitting on a stage: a man in a dark gray suit is on the left, a man in a navy suit is in the middle, and a woman in a pink suit is on the right. The man in the middle is speaking and the other two are smiling at him.

Yesterday I had the utter joy to pilot a brand new, original case study coauthored with my friend & colleague Lucy Montgomery. “Full Court Press: The Negotiations to Bring Wrongfully Detained WNBA Star Brittney Griner Home” coming soon to a classroom near you! 1/

Finally, this idea wouldn’t have become a paper without Michael Weintraub, who first shared my enthusiasm when I shared what was emerging from my interviews. Since then, I’ve been the luckiest to receive invaluable feedback from many workshops, conferences, and friends. Thank you!

Thank you! I had it framed, but in a box of sorts, so that I could still see the back, too:

Today is my first day as an Assistant Professor at Northwestern! I am so, so excited and grateful. Now: let’s see if I can recreate this ensemble in grown-up… 💜
