Does @johnromero.bsky.social know? He posted about him three days ago. @dosnostalgic.bsky.social warned folks months ago. Pretty sure John Romero would want nothing to do w/ his toxic ass if he knew.

The perfect sweatshirt doesn't exi—

A burgundy sweatshirt with the text 'Directed by David Lynch' on the chest. It's treatment is similar to that used in the title sequence for Twin Peaks

For my money, it's quite the story for someone like me who can't help but adore Ultima. However, the reality is, given past outcomes, it might end up not being much of a story come the light of day.

I have a hard time not thinking of Matt Berry just in general.

If you keep going back, you end up sifting through Etruscan & Euboean, & before you know it you've become a nerdy undergrad student studying language. Damn you, Ultima. (Personally it was UW that I absolutely scraped for "content" as the kids say, but U7/SI were close contenders.)

I missed out on your Black Parade box, but it would be pretty cool if they included it w/ the remaster & then did a physical release via LRG...

dancingcrab @dancingcrabspks.bsky.social · 08/06/2026

Think you can get them to bundle Black Parade w/ it??

Unfortunately I do believe we've reached a moment in time when the Internet really does need to be reset. Let's try again w/ this globally interconnected thing.

Truth be told, I save scum all the time. If it doesn't interfere w/ my internal value system, why not?

Sorry for re-igniting this. Dante responded a 2nd time to my earlier post & I decided to reply. Didn't occur to me that it would create a bunch of notifications for y'all. Think he's done w/ me, which is fine because this is the internet. Sad, as it had been years of wholesome nerdy interactions.

Look, Dante, I'm sorry you feel that way. At the risk of pissing you off further, I'm empathetic, I promise. But the truth is, you are wrong about our interaction, & the way I have to frame that is through the lens of you're having a hard time. I get it. I hope it gets better. I am not against you.

Complex PTSD is fairly different to PTSD, & can present BPD-style behaviours. It can be a very difficult thing to live with.

As for UO, I dabbled but never spent much time w/ it, thus my preferences for solo Ultimas. Kinda tempted to check it out again one day though!

The Expanse is really good, definitely recommend if you enjoy hardish scifi & complex, unfolding narratives.

I'm cautiously interested. I did really enjoy the show, but haven't made it to the books yet.
