Show us your favorite character designs you've made! My favorite part about working on Hearts of Flame is bringing the characters my husband has created with his writing to life visually

Digital drawing of character concept art for the Dra'khan ambassador, Prince Dio. He is a green anthropomorphic dragon with black/charcoal stripes on his wings, arms, and legs. His claws and horns are the same color. He has bright green eyes and wears a black tunic decorated with black scalemail armor with gold and red details

Digital drawing of a character design for Lord Taloc. He is a red dragon with golden tattoos and gold tipped claws and spines. He also has gold eyes. There is a human figure next to his furthest back foot to show scale.

Digital bust drawing for the character Friend from Hearts of Flame. He is a construct like being made of gold and designed to look like a wolf-bat. The character is upside down, grinning at the viewer

Digital drawing of a character design for Tiamat from Hearts of Flame. She is a red dragon with glowing white horns, eyes, and claws. Her wings are a purple fading into black to show a night sky, and there are what appears to be glowing stars in her wings, as they change color they also change from wings into clouds. There is a blue dot next to her to show her scale in comparison to a planet.

Taloc (Tay-lock) is a beautiful a** **** He's the antagonist because he doesn't really like humans or demons and wants to see the protagonists fail for his own political gain. He's also an accomplished sanguimancer whose practices are questionable 🤔

Bust drawing of the character Taloc from Hearts of Flame. He's a red dragon with golden tattoos written in Draconic and golden eyes. He is smiling menacingly at something off camera. The background is a dark cave.

Digital drawing reference sheet for the character Taloc from Hearts of Flame. Side view. The character is a red dragon with golden tattoos, eyes, and claws. A human figure comes up to his ankle for size comparison.

She wears a red dress with black trim and a black belt, one shows her without her crown and the other shows her with it on. The third image is a more formal dress that is black with more flowing sleeves and red accents and a belt, she is wearing her crown.

Her wings are a purple that fades to black, showing the night sky full of stars, and they slowly morph into shadowy clouds. For size comparison, she stands next to a blue circle, showing the size of the world

Digital drawing for the character Coparus from Hearts of Flame. She is a green adult dragon and a member of the triumvirate in Dracopolis. Her horns, claws, and eyes are a yellow-green color, and her underbelly and inner wings are a paler green. She has blue and brown specks across her scales like that of copper patina.

Gallia considers her family to be the most important people in her life, and in the comic she goes to great lengths to protect them. They are all really close due to the family being social outcasts despite being the royal family of their small country.

Digital drawing of a character design for Gallia from Hearts of Flame. She has dark, almost black red hair and green eyes and is wearing a green dress in both images and summoning blue soulfire in her hand. Both dresses have a light baby blue trim and belt. The second image shows a velvet blue cloak at her shoulder held together by a silver clasp.

Digital drawing of Gallia's parents: Selestria and Baazemuut II. Selestria is a woman with red hair and green eyes wearing a bright red dress with black trim and a black belt. Baaz is a half-demon with black hair/facial hair and brown eyes wearing a dark red tunic with black trim they are both smiling and looking at each other while she sits on his shoulder

Digital drawing of a character design for Gallia's older brother Jarket II he is part demon with wings and small horns, he has black hair and green eyes. The first design has him wearing a gray tunic and dark brown pants with light brown cloth bindings around his feet. The second design is similar, but he is now wearing a brown leather jerkin over his tunic and has dark brown fingerless gloves and matching padded bracers.
