I feel like the fact that Crowley sat in that armchair as if this was nothing of importance, made the fandom assume that the Book of Life is not real. Rather than ask why was Crowley not worried about what this threat or Metatron walking in and then Aziraphale coming back with "good news" meant.

What if Raphael was previously erased from the Book of Life? What if Good Omens is happening in another Universe similar to our own. Only they got Aziraphale and Crowley in the Garden of Eden but we ALL get saved by them. Maybe they were erased in all Universes but that one. In one they survived.
