“For ideologues like Vought, who see Trump’s presidency as a vehicle to advance the unpopular goals they could never get through the actual democratic process, this has been a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.” Totally agree, tho I wonder what happens when Trump realizes he’s been played.

This press release by AG Pam Bondi is a moral stain on our nation and a disgrace to the legal system.
A press release dated March 15, 2025, from the Office of Public Affairs, titled "Statement from Attorney General Pamela Bondi on Federal Judge Blocking Deportations." The statement criticizes a DC trial judge’s decision to block the deportation of alleged members of the Venezuelan criminal group Tren de Aragua (TdA). It accuses the judge of prioritizing "terrorists over the safety of Americans" and notes that TdA is represented by the ACLU. The statement argues that the ruling disregards President Trump's authority, endangers public safety, and asserts that the Department of Justice will continue working with the White House and Department of Homeland Security to address the issue. The press release ends with a call to "stop this invasion and Make America Safe Again."
