It’s really simple for me to admit this, but yes. I’ve essentially fallen in love with Fortune’s Weave so much that I’ve been VERY happy with my pre-order. While I was able to pay $70 for it, it’s definitely a game that is…founded in being content heavy. Definitely getting money’s worth.

Star Wars fans literally bullied a child and a black man after The Phantom Menace came out just cuz they played characters fans didn't like.

I think, with the latter post in mind, the sequel trilogy definitely was the whole well… “we OWN this fandom.” It was vaguely in the background before, but it got really bad to the point where there’s an INDUSTRY of right-wing entitlement now.

(And, of course, ruined the lives of Jake Lloyd and Ahmed Best, and of those two only one of them has been able to bounce back) The sequel trilogy inspired right-wing harassment and fandom as identity politics.

Video Games are for everyone. PERIOD. No matter what the color of your skin, gender, etc. Don't give any attention to the nobodys & grifters that say otherwise. They're not worth the time of day & just ignore their toxicity and bullshit. As long as you're having fun, that's all that matters. 😎🎮👍🏾

"This election is about the threat of trans kids" is the worst possible messaging for Dems yet so many candidates are leaning into it. No voter will flip R->D over it. Low-info voters read this as "you're focused on bullshit that doesn't affect me" while the base reads this as "you're an asshole."

If you're a Dem who thinks you'll gain something by going anti-trans, look at Gallup's "most important problem" and Fox News' "most important issue" polling and see where trans issues rank. Whoever told you going anti-trans is a savvy or necessary move spends too much time on X and should be fired.

Gallup polling. "LGBTQ rights" moves between 0 and 1%.

Fox news polling. Wokeness/transgender issues at 0%.

So I think I’ve come with my issue with Fortune’s Weave… First off, I’m now a working adult with a grown-up job where I actually have to DO things when I get home… So my time spent playing this game is a LOT more limited. …And I also have choice paralysis. Too many options.

Daisy/Di Galvez @daisygalvez.bsky.social · 20/09/2026

Though… On one hand, the Switch 2 is $50 extra, but on the other hand, it’s because of the increasing RAM prices. And on one hand, they didn’t exactly give US the tariff refunds, but at least we’re getting a sale on a good number of Switch games.

It’s even crazier because Nintendo has just been doing nothing too crazy this year. They’re just being the same as LAST year. It’s just that Sony has shit the bed in an insane way and the Switch 2 can keep up with this new generation. Not to an AMAZING extent mind you, but… Still
