This is a rare occasion where I wish Musk’s words were true. But I know the current Democratic Party and they only engage in political gesturing. They play checkers while the Republicans are playing chess (with extra pieces held under the table).

No, this isn’t the implication. It’s like me saying “The right is supposed to be the party of law and order.” It’s understood that parties are supposed to be, but one party beats their chest louder on that issue.

There is no internal market. You can be as flexible as you want but if you don’t have buyers, it doesn’t matter. You have fatal optimism.

You have a big misunderstanding of farms. They aren’t comparable to individual federal employees. They are humongous machines with thousands of moving parts. And like I said, there is no internal market for food crops or feed crops because we have a huge surplus of food in the USA.

We have already been through this crisis in the last Trump presidency but it was a smaller tariff and only with China. It cost us about 64,000 jobs. We lost hundreds of millions of dollars. Farms can’t just “adjust” that fast. There is no market internally. The USA has a surplus of food in general.

This is disastrous. Soybeans are Mississippi’s 2nd largest commodity, making up an average of 1.7 billion per year. 80% of the soybeans are traded to China. And about 25% of the global trade in soybeans are between MS and China. We have over 3000 soybean farms that are going to suffer from this.

I guess if you know something “intuitively” you don’t need things like evidence, or even an investigation to find evidence. Why bother with the pesky details? - but do you know what we do when we find fraud? We don’t cut the programs, we cut out the fraud and the programs grow.

We use methylene blue as part of an anecdote for cyanide poisoning. It helps make methemoglobin turn back into regular usable hemoglobin again. So unless you have some seriously messed up hemoglobin with tissue hypoxia and impending death, don’t. It doesn’t belong in your body all willy-nilly.

I’m going to pardon you for not knowing that hypocrisy doesn’t apply to me. I don’t think ANY president should have the power to pardon anyone from legal actions or convictions. It’s a corruption of justice no matter what POTUS does it.
