I feel like we are in a perfect storm when it comes to pandemic preparedness. 1) distrust of our healthcare agencies and official medical messengers. 2) 13 million undocumented immigrants unlikely to report infection. 3) The head of DoH more concerned about vaccines than the diseases. #H5N1

Public perception fix: Instead of calling them illegal immigrates call them undocumented workers. Instead of calling them immigrants call them expatriates. That’s how we would like ourselves to be viewed if we were in another country, right? No double standards.

I’m logging out of Meta apps today and for the next week. When I log back in, it won’t be for too long before I delete those accounts. Why? It’s the hypocrisy for me. The gov. banned our speech on a competitors platform in the name of “national security” but the same data is available for sell.
