The Sanctity of the Divine Feminine Rage. There’s a great reason why I wrote and produced “Holy Water”. I suppose I could write music about frivolous subjects and themes. But this feels right and hits the mark especially at this very moment. The “Majestic Remix” is coming this Friday.

It took me a while to find this still from the 1985 BBC “Alice In Wonderland.” This was my favorite to watch on Betamax as a kid. This particular scene stayed with me forever. When I first arrived in Galicia, I don’t know why it reminded me of this. It shares the same liminality and magic.

“Ghost Machine” (2024) challenges tyrannical order and oppression with themes of uprising, rebellion and justice. One my favorite gothic post-metal, modern darkwave works with some 90s dark alternative and dark electro elements. Visuals inspired by AKIRA, Ghost In The Shell. No AI More in the ALT

CZARINA - EMPIRE
There are those who make art, and those who make music, and then there are those, like Czarina, who build worlds. starting trom her voice and working outwards, her performance builds upon the raw elements of her powerful imagination to give us more than sounds and lights and movements. More than the sum of her parts. Somehow it makes perfect sense to blend medieval and futuristic aesthetics, to don chainmail and sing songs about magical eremonies while playing an electric guitar ald over wave. f orchestral synth melodies. Czarina occupies a complet world of imagined traditions that are both dreamed up To same dinge where echogy and mage are Somehow

Music videos are often hard to produce, but they’re one of the ways for me to convey the allegorical and mythological elements and symbolisms enshrined in my music. Here are some of my favorite shots from the last one for “Holy Water” - the pomegranate scene. youtu.be/Sk-VCBT7X14?...

This is important to discuss. More in the ALT

This is important to discuss. But all of the people who disappointed me or I’ve had conflicts with thru life - especially as of late - all share this one trait in common.

They all move and behave like parasites.

Parasites perceive people as commodities, as stepping stones or rungs on a ladder to their agenda. They feel entitled to use others for all they have, and then easily discard them as soon as they feel they no longer have any use.

This is a form of narcissistic abuse.

The silver lining tho is that at least the moment they discard you, they’re gone for good. So consider that divine protection.

I’m sure a lot of you have seen and experienced this. It’s become pervasive in the world and era of clout chasing.

Conversely, there are people out there who figure and learn everything on their own — people who always solved problems alone their entire lives. I’m one of those — the child who grew up solving all her problems in a dark corner of the house. That is how I developed a myriad of skills so I don’t ever need to use anyone. But I also grew too empathetic to those who seek me for what I can do. So I am also learning and have been training myself to become less empathetic, start setting some strong boundaries, and being extra discerning who gets to be in my circle and have access. Because we really are in this sh*tty phenomenon where relationships are now commodified, and you are only valued based on how useful you are.

It’s fxcked up.

To my pals in Germany 🇩🇪 I’ll be appearing on German TV @nrwision.bsky.social for a special interview. It will be aired several times thru the week so I hope you can catch one and enjoy the discussion. 🖤🖤🖤

RE:CORD: Singer, songwriter and producer Czarina

Electronic soundscapes meet medieval influences and futuristic aesthetics: In this exclusive interview, singer, songwriter, and producer Czarina discusses her journey from classical training and playing in a metal band to her current sound, a blend of synthpop, darkwave, and orchestral elements. She explores how diverse cultural influences, nature, and her work in fashion, film, and music intertwine. The interview also touches on fair conditions for independent artists, direct community support, streaming, and her critical stance on generative AI.
