This is important to discuss. More in the ALT

This is important to discuss. But all of the people who disappointed me or I’ve had conflicts with thru life - especially as of late - all share this one trait in common.

They all move and behave like parasites.

Parasites perceive people as commodities, as stepping stones or rungs on a ladder to their agenda. They feel entitled to use others for all they have, and then easily discard them as soon as they feel they no longer have any use.

This is a form of narcissistic abuse.

The silver lining tho is that at least the moment they discard you, they’re gone for good. So consider that divine protection.

I’m sure a lot of you have seen and experienced this. It’s become pervasive in the world and era of clout chasing.

Conversely, there are people out there who figure and learn everything on their own — people who always solved problems alone their entire lives. I’m one of those — the child who grew up solving all her problems in a dark corner of the house. That is how I developed a myriad of skills so I don’t ever need to use anyone. But I also grew too empathetic to those who seek me for what I can do. So I am also learning and have been training myself to become less empathetic, start setting some strong boundaries, and being extra discerning who gets to be in my circle and have access. Because we really are in this sh*tty phenomenon where relationships are now commodified, and you are only valued based on how useful you are.

It’s fxcked up.

Friends, @cmags27.bsky.social and I would like you to meet Valencia (or Vali for short), the new love of our lives. Since she’s a rescue who has been through a lot of changes in the past few weeks, we’re taking things slow and giving her the care and support she needs. And we love her already.

Oh look, another predatory label, extracting attention and revenue from small artists without holding up their end of the bargain, to put it lightly... If you are in that particular scene, definitively give this a read! 🧵

Seriously

I don't ever want to hear how
"progressive" or "radical left" your politics are if you can't even lift a finger to address abuse happening right beside you.
I don't want to hear "Release the Epstein files" from people who, when faced with credible allegations in their own circles, help perpetrators deflect, distract, or evade accountability for their own selfish interests.
You don't have to be part of the top 1% for your conduct to mirror the same patterns of enabling, protecting power, and shielding abusers.
That's the point.
This is the problem with the world.

I feel like my proggy pieces are the actual meat of the project. They don’t get pushed as much because they’re not the most synthpop / darkwave sounding. But they’re the most fun to compose, produce and perform, and brings out the inner nerd. czarinaofficial.bandcamp.com/track/alchemy
