The ECB currently has a survey on the new Euro bank notes up. I would suggest responding to it if you have a few minutes and care about such things as there are some pretty bad designs (in my opinion ofc) among the options. surveys.ecb.europa.eu/10b/neweuro/

I'm not very impressed with the quality of @bsky.app's new privacy policy. One section has been duplicated for no apparent reason. The biggest issue is that all jurisdiction specific disclosures are under the section "US States". This includes the parts regarding EU/UK and Brazil.

Diotronic in Barcelona is an amazing electronics store of a type you can't really find in many places. You want a coax connector of some kind? here's a shelf full of options. You want to terminate your own fiber optic cables? here's a bunch of things for that. Go there if you get the chance to.

Today I finally finished Half Life! It was kinda neat but some big parts were rather tedious and I mostly just played it so I could play the half life games in order. The platforming was probably the most annoying aspect.

one thing that amuses me about the EU is how bad they can be at coming up with short titles and names for agencies etc. like the full title of what's essentially the EU minister of foreign affairs is "High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy"

google photos is sorting pictures based on timestamp in local time so a picture I took at 01:13 UTC got sorted as happening before one I took at 00:47 UTC (this was on 2023-10-29) whyyy google???
