🚐 🎶 Lovely little run of gigs- despite multiple vehicle deaths and some mad flooding ...the shows went on! Rhediad bach hyfryd o gigs - er gwaethaf marwolaethau ein ceir a'r lligofydd eithafol...gwnaeth y sioeau mynd yn eu blaen!

🎼🎶 SONG STORIES PT.4 // STRAEON CANEUON RH.4 - 'Y MEDELWR'🌾 The Welsh folk poet tradition is pretty unique within a modern European literary context. A good example is the poet 'Isgarn', who documented the rapid changes that were taking place in West Wales during the first half of the 20th century.

An enjoyable and enlightening show from 'Three Acres And A Cow' in the beautiful setting of the Wesley Church in Chester. 'A History Of Land Rights And Protest In Folk Song And Story' it was fun to sing along. Catch them on tour, if you can! @threeacresacow.bsky.social @cynefinmusic.bsky.social

Three performers preparing for the closing song in the show 'Three Acres + a Cow'. They are standing in front of a washing line hung with paper banners printed with the dates and titles of each of the chapters in the history of land rights in Britain from 1066 to the present day.

In an age of homogenisation and mass amnesia, Cynefin’s ‘Shimli’ looks to the diversity of our past for answers, a role he’s well-placed to comment on as a researcher and cultural historian. Another remarkable release from this unique musician. klofmag.com/2025/02/cyne... @cynefinmusic.bsky.social
