I wish the map listings were viewable to people who don’t have a subscription. A lot of people don’t even know that they’re offered, and it’d be very nice to be able to see what you’re getting access to before you actually pay for it.

Listen to me. Listen. If you're making images that will only be displayed on screens, YOU HAVE TO LET GO. You can calibrate your screens perfectly, but then 25k people will see it on their shitty $50 monitors or cracked phone and its out of your hands. Don't think of it. Achieve enlightenment.

The idea that 'AI can speed up dev cycles' would require a premise that dev cycles are long because people are taking forever to make assets (so you could replace them with shoddy slop and it'd go faster), which you could only believe is true if you've never actually tried to make a video game

Latest snapshot has one of the biggest resource pack changes ever, being able to rotate cuboids in block models in increments finer than 22.5 degrees is so huge--the fact that this was quietly added with no fanfare is crazy

Yeah, I can understand that. There is a subtle difference, though, in that the copper golem was never actually added, so the people talking about it were mostly the people who liked the idea a lot. With the new ghast, everybody is seeing/talking about it, so the more negative people are included.
