Some good news for a change. Thousands of Ukrainian soldiers who went AWOL have returned to service through a simplified program – enough to staff 2–3 brigades, Ukraine’s MoD reports. Many are back in combat roles, bringing valuable experience. Their pay and benefits have been restored.
