Catharine @curlycaff.bsky.social · 27/04/2025Can't really blame the players too much after two seasons of being completely mismanaged by this fraud. Utterly woeful manager. 010
Catharine @curlycaff.bsky.social · 11/04/2025Went to Paris for the day on Wednesday and it was absolutely beautiful 010
Catharine @curlycaff.bsky.social · 17/01/2025Jesse Eisenberg and Will Sharpe were also great - Eisenberg especially generous letting Culkin steal the show. Although he did write a scene praising his own feet... A welcome time at the cinema after a rough week. 000
Catharine @curlycaff.bsky.social · 17/01/2025Saw A Real Pain this evening. I'm predisposed to love anything Kieran Culkin is in, and this is no different. It'll stay with me. The Chopin soundtrack was the icing on the cake for me, and Culkin's eyes in the last shot of the film - real pain. 100
Catharine @curlycaff.bsky.social · 07/01/2025Even though I've seen Spirited Away many times, (usually while snuggled up on the sofa and therefore with a tendency to doze off), I was struck by how stunning the train going through the water scene is. I think I went into a wee trance. Gorgeous. I want to see Totoro in the cinema now. 000
Catharine @curlycaff.bsky.social · 06/01/2025Saw Spirited Away at the Barbican Cinema with my sons this evening. Seen it many times, Studio Ghibli films are part of their childhood, and what a treat to see it on the big screen. Enchantingly beautiful animation. 120
Catharine @curlycaff.bsky.social · 01/01/2025I missed seeing The Outrun in the cinema, finally watched it today. Saoirse Ronan is outstanding and it's a heartbreakingly beautiful film that I'll be thinking about for a long time. A good film to watch at the start of a new year. 010

Catharine @curlycaff.bsky.social · 14/12/2024Son home from university for Christmas, we begin our annual rewatch of the Lord of the Rings films 🥰 120
Catharine @curlycaff.bsky.social · 12/12/2024She's great - go through phases of doing daily yoga with her and always feel better for it (early 50s here). 010
Catharine @curlycaff.bsky.social · 10/12/2024Just finished re-reading Tinker Tailor, having re-watched the Alec Guinness 1970s TV adaptation. Glorious. 110
Catharine @curlycaff.bsky.social · 10/12/2024It really was. Some of my all time favourites in there - Hoddle and Perryman, especially 010
Catharine @curlycaff.bsky.social · 10/12/2024I think we took it for granted, the FA Cup was ours 😭 010
Catharine @curlycaff.bsky.social · 10/12/2024Found this in my loft today. I've been doing this for a long time, God help me. 241
Catharine @curlycaff.bsky.social · 07/12/2024Not with you there I'm afraid. Too much energy first thing. 010
Catharine @curlycaff.bsky.social · 07/12/2024My last mix was one I made up myself. This latest one was from Lidl and it's disappointing. Back to mixing my own it is. 100
Catharine @curlycaff.bsky.social · 07/12/2024Bought a seed mix for my porridge the other day- it's a bit too crunchy. Gutted. I sometimes stir some peanut butter in, along with some honey 👌 100
Catharine @curlycaff.bsky.social · 01/12/2024Was at the match and I'm fuming at all of them from standing stone out of his depth ange down 000
Catharine @curlycaff.bsky.social · 29/11/2024Genuinely a skill to make one of the hottest footballers ever to grace the game look like this, hats off! 020
Catharine @curlycaff.bsky.social · 28/11/2024A few hours later, golden dog walk. Spot the border collie in the freezing cold stream 020
Catharine @curlycaff.bsky.social · 28/11/2024Misty, frosty run this morning along the canal. Almost monotone with hints of yellow 120
Catharine @curlycaff.bsky.social · 24/11/2024Sign her up, Ange. She's like Dembele in possession. And a relentless like Kulusevski 010
Catharine @curlycaff.bsky.social · 23/11/2024Look at this wee badge I found while clearing out some stuff out today. Had it since I was about 9. Spurs pure (chaos) magic 2252
Catharine @curlycaff.bsky.social · 23/11/2024Ridiculous football club I love/hate Tottenham Hotspur so much 030
Catharine @curlycaff.bsky.social · 23/11/2024My 16 year old son "I can still see us losing". He gets it, he's fully Spurs. 000
Catharine @curlycaff.bsky.social · 23/11/2024Ffs. Can't wait to see him stood on the touchline frowning, doing nothing later on. 010
Catharine @curlycaff.bsky.social · 23/11/2024Ee don't seem to coach defence so off the pitch as well as on is indefensible. (Not sure that works...whatever) 100
Catharine @curlycaff.bsky.social · 23/11/2024Fully agree with my pal (oooo football friend) Jack here. Appalling all round re Bentancur, including the increasingly disappointing manager 220
Catharine @curlycaff.bsky.social · 18/11/2024Ginkgo trees on The Cut looked gorgeous today, a dull damp Monday 020
