Guys, shouldn't you be like... preparing for a mission or something... Missed them like crazy so have a canon and a slightly less canon version of Farie & Rylen sneaking around 😎 -- Farie x Rylen, #DragonAge Inquisition #rylavellan

A digital painting of my Dragon Age non-Inquisitor OC Farie Lavellan and Knight Captain Rylen. They look like you just caught them making out - she is leaning against a wall and he is leaning iover her. He holds one of his hands above her head, and the other on her waist, while she has both of her hands on this breastplate. Farie looks startled and Rylen looks slightly angry or annoyed. They are both wearing their field armours.

I've had 3 people cry on my shoulder for tragic/personal stuff (one of them didn't even say anything she just asked for a hug and broke down), got handed the store keys, and told I'm going to run the store. And it's only 10am 😅

Honestly this is the reason behind the electric yarn winder/make my own yarn. I just want a beautiful emerald green dragon and the ability to have multiple sizes of the same color.

010

Jess, CuriousThimble @curiousthimble.bsky.social · 12/10/2026

It'll take some experimentation but I think it'll solve a lot of problems

000

Jess, CuriousThimble @curiousthimble.bsky.social · 12/10/2026

Apparently the yarn i want doesn't actually exist 😭 I've tried to order it twice from sellers with 10+ in stock only for them to cancel my order because its out of stock

So... turns out I'm getting an electric yarn winder for Christmas so I can begin the insanity of customizing my own yarns 😅

Got a new crochet book in today! Do I know how to do tapestries? Not yet. But I NEEDED that moon phase pattern.

The cover of Spooky Crochet Tapestry book by Emily Chavez, also known as Crochet Or Cry

The Moonlight Hours pattern from the previous book. A crocheted tapestry with the moon phases and clock workings in the center.

Today's crochet is so small I'm using size 8 thread and a 1.3mm hook. And to think I wanted to make a dragkn using sewing thread 😫

Hurricane Isaias decided to dump rain on us the day before it was supposed to, so our local renfaire was canceled. Guess I'll stay home and get some more work done on UNTETHERED instead

He stayed exactly where Deirdre had left him, waiting until Deirdre returned with damp hair, before he stretched and humped over to the small bookshelf underneath the window. One of her old sketchbooks fell out of place as he did. She sighed.

“Bit of a chunky boy, aren’t you?” Deirdre crouched down to pick up the book, and felt a light smack on the top of his head.

She glared up at the cat who licked the paw he had smacked her with, and tucked the sketchbook back amongst her other old books, and well-worn copies of Nancy Drew and Richie Tankersley Cusick books she loved as a teenager, and sometimes reread as an adult. As she stood, she noticed a flash of white outside of her window. She froze. Eyes darting around the dark expanse of trees. They waited at the window together, but Deirdre didn’t see anything out there.

“I usually close these,” she said, reaching to close the curtains, but Mr. Pinkus fixed her with another glare. “Or I can leave them open, I guess.”

Hera's whole story is about hurtling herself toward sacrifice. She is constantly thinking about why she does what she does and who ultimately will benefit.

I *finally* got some pictures of Joe's dragon! He has since asked if I know how to bond a blue dragon on dragon kind lol.

Crocheted dragon, color choices by Joe. Dragon's body is dark metallic blue. Wing webbing and belly are metallic sky blue. Spines, horns, and belly details are sandy gold.

The dragon is sitting amongst fallen leaves and green ivy.

Pattern by Crafty Intentions, work by me.

Would anyone be interested in some budget-friendly small kinktober comms? I don't have time for big ones anymore, but shorter ones for some pocket money I can still do. Budget friendly meaning around 30 - 50$ for a 1500 - 2500k words depending on complexity

"Bookish" spaces drive me batty. There are people who only (or don't) read the dialog trying to tell people what a masterpiece of literature is. Y'all. Reading can be fun. Not every book has to be beautifully or perfectly written. Some can just be FUN.
