I missed the last season of Daredevil. Can I just jump in cold to Born Again? Is it worth watching?

SO glad to see GE Smith is still alive — glad to catch him sitting in the back row. #SNL50

Cummerbund, McClintock and Rehfeldt are the holy trinity of mashup videos. Or they are a law firm. Or both.

I need a weekend binge of Airplane, Blazing Saddles and Stripes. Any others to add to the list?

New, from me: why combat sports were the perfect breeding ground for Trumpism. "[Historically] This male violence, standing in for healthy emotional development, was celebrated. The victor was crowned a metaphorical king—or, in our current timeline, the literal president."

Which movie frustrated you, because you just knew they had you primed for an epic twist… …that never arrived?

Today I learned there is a show called “Paternity Court.” Because of course there is.

Just now catching up on all of the “Yellow paint” discourse, and I’ll just say this: I’m glad Black Ops 6 just added the sprays back in, so I can put yellow on enemies and trigger their team.

The whole album is good, but the stretch on the B side is outstanding. Territories is a dance bop, with an amazing message about the futility of borders. Middletown Dreams is three simple vignettes about people shifting through life phases. Emotion Detector has a guitar solo to make you cry.

I grew up in southern Idaho, and some of my friends in the late 70s had “2112” (and in the early 80s, “Moving Pictures.”) So through them, I had heard some of those songs, just didn’t recognize them until I was older. (Again, I didn’t own the albums, so no reference for who was whom, not The Who)

My cousin made me a cassette, that was the Miami Vice Soundtrack on one side, and Power Windows on the other. I had heard of Rush (even early,) but didn’t have lyrics or even a track listing. I just knew that I liked the flow of those songs.

I want to put some context around one of my favorite albums ever, Rush’s 1985 “Power Windows.” I didn’t buy it. For the first two years I had it, it was pure serendipity.

Somehow when I was pinching and zooming I missed a quadrant. Still, that run from Territories through Emotion Detector is SO damned good.

The best part in The Muppet Christmas Carol is when Scrooge refuses to give a charitable donation, so Beaker flips him off…

Moon Knight by Bill Sienkiewicz. #comics #art

Nighttime cityscape in background showing various roofs and chimneys with smoke. Foreground on the right border of page is Moon Knight. His left side is mostly off page. You see his head and right side down to mid thigh. His right arm holds a baton at his side. His cape is going over his right shoulder and behind him.
