A little more progress. The deadline is getting close but I’m having a hard time getting into these. Maybe make them grimier. I don’t know.

A motley Trench Pilgrim warband for Trench Crusade. More paint is needed.

I know this exact feeling. If you press reprisal you’re a god.

That’s a really neat find.

What’s that forward facing one in the center cubby? Looks cool.

Gotta look good for the cutscenes. Congrats also.

That the HW relic? The glow is pretty cool.

That is so cool looking.

I love that it has the RE puzzles but he just refuses to engage with them.

The board looks great. Is the cloth on the crates and bridges just tissue paper and a white glue?

Slapping together a Pilgrim warband for a Trench crusade event in mid October. Still trying to find a color scheme that I like.

After the story section right before that I had no idea what to expect. For the game to just jump to “oh we are doing this Now!?” Was really fun.

The sudden aversion to difficulty or failure across the board in games is frustrating. Beating a Robot master on your last life with the slimmest amount of health was always so fun.

The failure of Biden and Garland to seriously lay down the hammer after J6 on both the insurrectionists, and more importantly, the politicians who enabled them will go down as a failure on par with the failure of reconstruction. A historic fumble I will go to my grave thinking this.

I like the homages they do with other final fantasies but this and the Eva collab feel a little more like advertisement than the others. We will have to see I guess.

It’s kind of worse playing a ttrpg when the group isn’t into it too. This is good advice for finding a group to start out.

Shout out to A24 for building its reputation off of incredibly talented filmmakers, having a great marketing team to convince people that it was A24 that was making the films they were distributing and then absolutely selling those filmmakers out to get in on the worst thing possible for filmmakers.

It’s such a stupid argument. All the things mentions required even a small interest in interacting with art instead of purely commodifying it.

UPS drivers do not have air conditioning in their package cars, despite committing to install AC in vehicles in the 2023 contract. Drivers are dying out on the road, and the California summer is rapidly approaching. When will they be held accountable? #unionstrong @teamsters.bsky.social

I think games in the 2.5D pixel style would look really neat with a CRT filter rather than being so crisp. Has anyone done this?

I was kind of interested in that pixel FF game until the end part that showed all the older characters as like summons.

what we're seeing isn't just the rise of youtubers, the dominance of horror, or some indie groundswell, it's because hollywood's 20 year reliance on franchises no one under 40 gives a shit about has finally come home to roost
