This might be hard to believe for ppl who don't work in food, but multiple outbreaks/recalls per week is routine. That's the normal background radiation of the food business. Because the US food system feeds 330 million people. It's massive. The outbreaks just rarely ever made the news before now.

Most people don’t know this, but important since we’ve collectively decided to have measles outbreaks again: Uncertain Status: Anyone vaccinated before 1968 who does not know the exact type of vaccine received should get at least one modern dose of the live MMR vaccine. I got mine last year.
