Clara Immerwahr (1870 -1915) First female Doctor of Chemistry from University of Breslau, Immerwahr was married to another chemist, Fritz Haber. Haber developed chlorine & mustard gas for battlefield use in WWI. Immerwahr opposed chemical weapons. Immerwahr committed suicide with her husband's gun.
