A really interesting paper in the AGU journal Earth's Future (Stanley et al. 2024) suggests that landslide hazard in the high mountains of Asia will increase under the effects of climate change. More information on the Landslide Blog:- eos.org/thelandslide...
Change in the LHI from 1990–2014 to 2091–2100 for the high mountains of Asia the two climate scenarios. Both show elevated occurrence of landslides across a wide area. From Stanley et al. (2024).
