Here’s the most incredible story you’ll read today. A small plane with four people aboard crashes in a field. Another pilot witnesses it. That pilot happens to be flying a bunch of skydivers. They offer to jump to assist, are given permission. The skydivers happen to be EMTs. Everyone survives.

Yes, these are the same dynamics I see in off topic open source bug reports. “They just want to say whatever is on their minds and they are trying to get anyone to respond” is a better explanation than “they haven’t been socialized regarding the norms”. The latter isn’t what they’re trying to do

It was, weirdly, a very pleasant place to work at. The no windows thing is slightly freaky but all of the offices had tall ceilings because it used to house a lot of machinery with raised floors for cabling etc. and you’re at the heart of tribeca, it’s lovely

That’s impossible! They don’t have the DGD, and neither do you! They can try to calibrate against some sample they deemed to be representative but even that is impossible given the premise of a universal classifier
