I always love it, when software offers me a calendar for entering my date of birth. As if I would know the weekday for that. (I mean, I do know it, but only because of those calendars)

I just gave #MistralAI #vibe a try. Verdict: works fine for stuff that basically just touches what's already there in the repo. Absolutely sucks for stuff, that requires automatic multi-steps (migrate A -> B).

I just got an e-mail from @github.com, that "my" repo "azure-functions-docker" has been disabled for a ToS violation. The thing is, that repo was a fork of github.com/Azure/azure-..., which seems do be disabled for the same reason. Some stupid #AI auto moderation going on again? #GitHub

Today is work day. Not as in spilling out lines of code and getting paid for it, but researching, updating an existing talk and preparing a new talk. All while watching 4h hours of Nürburgring.

Anthropic’s “auto mode” for Claude Code has a 17% false negative rate - 17% of the time it will run dangerous commands because they are misclassified as safe. (www.anthropic.com/engineering/...) Actual Russian Roulette with a loaded revolver has a false negative rate of 16.67%. So, that’s a thing.
