I remind my sts that having your HW done on time benefits your learning bc we discuss the problems the next day - that seems to motivate MOST of them. It's about the learning - not the grade. 170

I don't believe grades motivate and that anything that is averaged is, in effect, a "summative" grade. See my beliefs below. #UngradingChat 3295
