In effect, these people are setting up a narrative that if trans voting participation drops and the dems lose, it's because trans people chose to not vote and are to blame for the dems losing. This must be flatly rejected - any voter suppression is because of GOP policy, not because of Erin Reed

Weekly reminder to check your voter registration. It's usually easy to check online. Even if you sent back a ballot it voted early you may still want to check. You might be able to verify it was counted as being cast. I'm not sure if/what states may use an eligable in day of election requirement.

One of my autism special interests is meeting rules and parliamentary procedures. Down side is I don't have people to larp committees with. Bright side, if I schedule a work and I'm facilitating it then it'll run like clockwork. Folks like meetings that move and end on time.

As someone who gets to do interviews, yes. Most of the time I'm a book dragon but dragons have polymorph usually so I get to be an interviewer cryptid sometimes. There are lots of rules, some are right and some are wrong. I only hold to the right ones. Best of luck, or woe be unto you.

Once the construction is done the staffing is really light. It's basically like a mining operation boom to bust in years a few years. Lots of jobs for a little while and then you've stripped the value and left waste. In this case infrastructure waste power draw, water waste, and noise.

Well, admin attempted to disenfranchise 16k voters. Got called out on it so walked it back to disenfranchising 200 voters. Going from a mythic widespread fraud to a small but real possible impact. And got that 100% wrong for zero detected fraud. Nearly 16k disenfranchised voters, ZERO fraud.

This encapsulates the political problem of the century so far. What worked before did, in fact, not work. Trump is the symptom, the problem started elsewhere before he stepped in to politics. Now he is making problems worse in addition to the original problems which are not addressed.

Good flag from @gillianbrockell.com that reporting on "The Box" suggested that it may have been much worse. The OIG saw "The Box" as of January 2026. Interviews done with people detained in September 2025 said at the time that "The Box" was smaller, people were chained in it, and it wasn't covered.

Our votes only have power to push change when we stop doing 'blue no matter who' for blue candidates who show no difference from republican party lines. This isn't just trans issues. Term limits, healthcare reform, pro union law changes, federal minimum wage. On those topics we also have uniparty.

Just today here in Idaho I did some clothes shopping. I had to guess my size and try the clothes on as soon as I got home. There is a stay on our bathroom bill but only for bathrooms not changing rooms or locker rooms. This is what bathroom bans do. This is what it looks like in practice.
