I just got back in contact with my extended family, and was invited to visit one of my uncles in the south. And then, yknow, hell broke loose, five people died and three were abducted, and i wasn't there for it BECAUSE I WAS WATCHING SEASON 2 WITH MY FIANCE. It fully hasn't occurred to me until now

XAN ! 🏴‍☠️🐐 @crypxtkeeper.bsky.social · 36m

I had this whole fucking Thing to say about grief and war and the genocide and the hell we exist in and something about hope but while writing it i realised that ofmd s2 is actually the main reason i wasn't killed three years ago, which is, actually, the worst thing I've ever realised i fear

What a fucking nightmare huh. Dodged a bullet, their entire humanities department is staffed by abusers it seems :/

110

XAN ! 🏴‍☠️🐐 @crypxtkeeper.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

I'll adjust it wasn't actually that horrible last time but it's probably for good this time:( currently I'm just trying not to reach the point of having to go back on tpn long term:(

010

XAN ! 🏴‍☠️🐐 @crypxtkeeper.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

Ugh, yeah, tons of bloodwork on the way and then diet changes. My body is so incredibly good at finding new and exciting ways to fuck me over

Also, i know about one that's definitely a predator and is definitely not being investigated and there's nothing i can do about it (can't even report it, everything is TECHNICALLY legal.) which is a fucking nightmare.

XAN ! 🏴‍☠️🐐 @crypxtkeeper.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

Finding out the uni i didn't go to is crawling with fucking abusers and rapists in every department is,,, an interesting experience.

XAN ! 🏴‍☠️🐐 @crypxtkeeper.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

I'd love that (if i ever figure out how to get into said fandom discords, I'm currently only in one which is such a shame actually)

010

XAN ! 🏴‍☠️🐐 @crypxtkeeper.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

Also last time it got this bad they suggested tpn which i DO NOT to do long term it was horrible during the month i had to do it for and i do not want to do that again ever. Been putting off emailing them about it but that's probably not a good move :/

010

XAN ! 🏴‍☠️🐐 @crypxtkeeper.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

Last time it was this bad i had to pretty much go off any solids it SUCKS :( eating is so uncomfortable i wish i could photosynthsize

XAN ! 🏴‍☠️🐐 @crypxtkeeper.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

Ugh. I need to email my nutritionist + gastro about it but I'll probably have to go back to having a bunch of tiny meals and a nutrition replacement drink every day because I've been pretty much incapable of keeping food down for months which sucks ass. I hate it here

XAN ! 🏴‍☠️🐐 @crypxtkeeper.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

020

XAN ! 🏴‍☠️🐐 @crypxtkeeper.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

I fear i may have the world's worst uni schedule. My Monday is a straight twelve hours no breaks and then on Wednesday i have one two hour class and everything else is prerecorded lectures i have to learn on my own. This is the BEST i could get it to be. I'm not making it through this semester y'all

Stop telling yourself that the grass is greener on the other side, because it's not. It is greener where you water it. So take control of your life and start watering your own pastures and grow
your own greener grasses.

Fuck grass, clover is a nitrogen fixing legume and dandelions are super useful. Be the weeds.

This is, of course, not worse than the actual Incident That Haunts Me, that was in fact, also related to my shitty knee giving out randomly. Sigh. That one is not only haunting me in my memories but also in my old highschool friends gc. Constantly. I get yearly reminders.

XAN ! 🏴‍☠️🐐 @crypxtkeeper.bsky.social · 25/09/2026

This happened to me in middle school. I will never forget it. Mostly because i ended up throwing up *in* the bus, and then had to stumble out of it so i could catch the other bus i needed to get home, leaving everyone else in the bus to suffer. It's going to haunt me forever.
