I was gone for a work trip for six days, so I only have a small set of changes to show. What I got painted yesterday are the leather details on Shaan, as well as some improvements of the torso armor. Giving the black armor better volumetric reflections has been overdue. #wh40k #nmm #ravenguard #gd

I've adjusted the position of two veterans, by sculpting more rocks. While doing that I also made the rock crack under the lowest placed Marine, who is mid jump-off. Besides that I also refined Shaans backpack a lot. #goldendemon #gd26 #ravenguard #spacemarines #minipainting #miniatures

The coloration of it ranges from a high value desaturated yellow/beige, through different oranges into brown-ish reds and a few low value browns for shadows.

The paintjob is based on red rocks often seen in canyons and certain desert areas of North America.
