honestly got really freaked out about posting art after ai became a big thing, i hate the idea of people stealing my work and pretending to be me in a way. but also fuck that, i miss expressing myself and being in an art community and tech bros can pry that from my cold dead hands

One of the best things about Fire Emblem is when you send your little anime guys to spear people in horrific war during the first part of the game and they go “tee hee I’m getting better!” when they level up and then you do the same thing in the second half and they go “war demeans humanity itself”

So I started playing red dead redemption... Played 1, liked John Marston a normal amount. Started 2, started liking him an abnormal amount

AI overviews are so fucking annoying. If I'm looking for information, LEAD ME TO THE SOURCE!! Don't feed it into a plagiarism machine and then have it try to remember the information. YOU HAVE THE ACTUAL INFO. IT'S LITERALLY CHEAPER TO JUST GIVE IT TO ME. WHY ARE YOU INCLUDING THIS STUPID MIDDLE MAN

Ryne... I miss her... Honourable mentions for Cid and Aymeric. Makes me sad that we just never talk to them anymore

So many good characters we grew to love and we just never get to see them again 😭 idk about the final quest for all of the job quest lines either but the summoner one sucked and didn't focus on the summoner characters at all so they didn't even get a proper send off

came home drunk last night and got way too excited to see Vergil

A drawing of Vergil from Devil May Cry with lipstick marks all over his face. He looks confused. The image is a based on an image of a surprised cat covered in lipstick marks.

I love how it took what 1,5 weeks to switch from "we won't use it for assets" to "if we do.." this is why no amount of genai in anything should ever be acceptable.

Reminder that the argument against GenAI has MULTIPLE points and all matter: 1. It is theft 2. It puts people out of work 3. It uses disproportionate resources 4. It removes artistic agency Do not let someone go "but they don't do 1 and 2!" Distract you from the others
