Someone who was very influential in the local scene in the late aughts and early teens has passed away. I met him a few times, but wouldn’t have know him if I had passed him in the street. His passing is noteworthy, and I am sad for those who called him friend.

One of my big stress tells is pain in my neck. I have been feeling mostly stress-free lately, especially in the last week, when I was away from work and mostly disengaged from FetLife. Both things came back today, and I was (and still am) excited about being back at work. My neck is killing me.

I am a grown ass adult who is turning 54 this year and I still feel like a schoolkid whenever I deal with my cancer doctors. Yet another way in which this whole cancer ordeal has taken a toll on me. The number of times I've been made to feel like a child is...a lot.
