Jerome is a crochet mouse. He's gray with light pink accents on his nose, ears, hands/feet and tail. He's a lucky mouse because the pattern designer created him a bunch of Mousefits. This one is my favorite so far. He's got a little headband with a piece of popcorn on it and then a collar/shirt of popcorn pieces and the rest of the outfit below his shoulders is a box with vertical red/white stripes to make the popcorn box!

In June & July my mom and I crocheted 150 hearts to be included in gift bags that will be distributed to homebound neighbors this fall. She put them together with a cute saying and I know they will bring smiles all around! #crochet #handmade

A large crochet Yoshi doll. It is sitting on a couch and the top of the eyes reach the top of the back cushion! Yoshi is a light green color. He has big eyes (details in felt, not yarn) and white spots on his cheeks and a white belly patch. His arms are kinda short, but in the game he doesn't use them much so it's ok.

He also has a tiny red shell and a pointy light green tail. His legs/shoes aren't prominent in either picture but the shoes are orange with yellow soles.

Oops. I marked a previous CAL for the wrong month. So here's the real April CAL - Sunny. I thought it was an octopus but the pattern designer says Jellyfish. Either way, it's meant to look like a flower, I used stash yarn and it turned out cute! #crochet #amigurumi #amigurumiCAL

A crochet Jellyfish/Octopus. The pattern calls for colors to make it look like a sunflower but I dug through my stash yarn and so instead mine has an orange top, yellow "petals" and then multi colored tentacles. Some are brown and a few are dark green. It has BIG black eyes and was a fun project that didn't take too much time!

In July I finally finished this super fun rainbow sweater shawl. I've only worn it twice because the weather has been so hot but I think it will be fun to layer in the fall! #crochet #handmade #wearable Paid Pattern: hearthookhome.com/product/its-...

The back of a shawl/cardigan that I crocheted. I used a fun, bright rainbow variegated yarn so it has fun horizontal stripes. The sweater is made with triple crochets so it is very holey.

In June we said goodbye to Butternut, our only remaining guinea pig. She was such a sweet girl and I miss her little chirps! I made a blanket in her colors to match the one I had made after Hazelnut died. It's much smaller because it hadn't been used yet when the photo was taken! #crochet #handmade

The bottom one is larger because it has stretched out from use. We lost Hazey in Sept 2025. The blanket has a wide stripe of dark brown, followed by a wide stripe of mustard, a narrow stripe of off white, wide stripe of mustard and a wide stripe of dark brown.

The top blanket was newer, for Butter who we lost in June 2026. This one has a narrow stripe of tan, narrow stripe of off white, wide stripe of tan, narrow of off white and finally a narrow stripe of tan.

During WWII there were red winter hats knit in quiet anti-Nazi resistance. During Operation Metro Surge there were red winter hats knit/crocheted in loud anti-ICE resistance. This summer I decided to try making a red bandana to keep the fight alive. #crochet #resistancecrochet

Same pattern as the red one but this is made in a variegated orange/yellow/white yarn and shows how it drapes on my head. I liked that it didn't pucker out to the sides & instead lays flat.

This year my crochet has occasionally taken on some activism vibes. Someone had a rainbow sash for their buttons at a weekly protest I frequent and I decided to make one for myself. It's a bit awkward to wear but for now it's a great display. #crochet #resistancecrochet Didn't follow a pattern.

The ears are tall and pointy. There is an offwhite & pink bow in front of the left ear and also under the chin. Bot have ribbons coming from them. The whole thing is made by crochet.

This is what I came up with for April/Easter. I used a crochet "fabric" and then put cross stitch on it! Egg shape wasn't easy but I think adding the border helped call out the shape. This is a fun technique! #handmade #crochet

I realized that just because a holiday falls in a certain month doesn't mean you want that holiday representing the entire month. So now I'm working on some generic covers. These two came from the same skein of yarn but are different patterns. #handmade #crochet

Clothes crocheted for the deer, from to left going clockwise: a long sleeve cardigan sweater made from dark green thread with gold mixed in, a triangle scarf made of light pick, boots with the bottom + foot cover part in mustard with light pink moving up the leg and a short skirt that is mustard color with pink asking the top & bottom.

This is a scarf made of crochet to match the Nyan Cat meme. The long scarf part is a ripple of 1 row each of the rainbow: Red on top then orange, yellow, green, blue and purple. On one end there is a rectangle shape made of tan with a pink rectangle just a little smaller on top. the lock rectangle has small dashes of darker pink & white on top representing sprinkles. Together they are supposed to look like a pop tart. The pop tart has a gray car head on the bottom right, a great tail off the middle left and 4 small gray paws along the bottom. The face of the cat is square eyes and a mouth that looks like a capital E flipped with the long side down.

My 2025 Wrap-Up from StoryGraph. It shows my first (Honey Girl) & last (The Christmas Tree Farm) reads as well as the longest (Iron Flame) and shortest (Your Black Friend). There are some stats and an example of a 5 star read from the year (And So I Roar). I didn't realize there would be so much info so I think in 2026 I'm going to try rating all the books I read.

I bought the kit for the A Winter's Tale Amigurumi Advent crochet a long with #PicaPauxHobbii this year. Then I realized I had a LOT of Christmas crochet going on. So this got put aside but I finished the first one just before the holiday. Love it & can't wait to make more! #crochet #amigurumi

Meet Owen Stoat. This little critter isn't actually so little compared to other amigurumi I've made. It stands tall with dark brown body/head/ears other than a tan patch around the bottom of the head and a tan belly & arms. Owen wears a pink sweater with a white diamond pattern on it. Removable accessories include a long, cozy looking pink scarf and a beautiful floor length cardigan made of tiny white granny squares and a scalloped edge.

The details on my first Pica Pau pattern have me very excited to complete the other 3 in this kit as well as search out future patterns by this maker.
