Fictional Selves: A Memoir by Kyle MacLachlan: This was a surprisingly quick and easy read, even when things got a little darker or more complicated in MacLachlan's personal story. #KyleMaclachlan #Books

I don’t care where you started out on the political spectrum If your kid comes out as trans & you don’t become a rainbow-clad, parade-cheering ally & rock-solid supportive girl/boy/enby dad/mom? You were never a parent at all You were a doll collector furious they didn’t stay in their packaging.

Neagley Season 1, Episode 8: "Touched": I was very worried about the survival of Neagley's team throughout this episode, which kept the tension high. There are some inventive solutions to certain plot and character threads along the way, making this a solid and satisfying finale. #Neagley #TV

This is your occasional reminder that generative "AI" in particular could have been developed on public domain materials and/or licensed and compensated works but the major players intentionally, methodically and systemically chose to steal labor from working creative folks instead

Good news: Wilber Garces Perez finally had surgery to remove the bullet that was in his back for 11 days. It took far too long, and it's more proof of ICE cruelty. But we kept up the pressure, and Wilber got the care he needed. Speaking up for our neighbors works.

The #Hokies started the season 3-0 and went into this game with Boston College as huge favorites. So why are they playing like hot garbage? The offense can't get any momentum and the defense is barely hanging on. It feels like only a matter of time before Boston College scores and takes the lead.
